    Brian Mose Nyambane sets his goals

    Forward Brian Mose Nyambane is keen to scale up his show this season after landing the perfect orientation to the Kenyan topflight last term.

    Nyambane landed at Simba wa Nairobi in the offseason from Narok-based fourth tier side Total Spurs on a season-long deal. He has since extended it to grace the 2024-25 season.

    “Last season, it took me a lot to adapt the system of play, new management, and all that’s required in the top league,”

    “I had goals and ambitions that I never met. It was hard to score but I had one assist in the few minutes that I earned in the only game that I started last season,”

    “It’s a new season now and with the experience I got from the technical bench and my fellow players, I believe this one will be much better,”

    “So far the preseason has been good with the advice and the trust placed on me. I’m ready to make a name that will stick in the minds of people,”

    “My goals for the season is to earn enough playtime as an individual, finding back of the net and providing the assists, to help the team to perform much better than last season. I look forward to a good season.”

    Nyambane made his premiership debut in last season’s opener against Muhoroni Youth. He featured in a total of 13 games and earned his first start in the season-ender against KCB where he registered an assist.

  • Three changes against Bidco United

    Three changes against Bidco United

    Keeper Byron Owino, teen defender Rogers Obusu Wasega, and forward Brian Mose have all been included in the Nairobi City Stars squad to face Bidco United in a 24th round, 2023-24 FKF Premier League match in Machakos on Saturday 9 March 2024 starting at 1 p.m.

    All three missed the last game against Kariobangi Sharks but are now back in the 20-man squad for the upcoming clash.

    Byron takes up the place of Elvis Ochoro as Wasega and Mose slot in for centerbacks Timothy Muganda and Sosthenes Idah who are both out due to cautions suspension.

    Regular Andrew Kisilu sits out a second game due to an injury, as well as wideman Pius Omachi and defender Edwin Buliba who are nursing knocks. Forward Kelvin Etemesi who had been ill is currently in the final stages of his recovery.

    Flyer Brian Mose Nyambane is the only inclusion, and change, in the named 20-man squad called up to face AFC Leopards in a matchday 19 tie in Bukhungu Stadium, Kakamega, on Sunday 21 January 2024 starting at 3 p.m.

    Mose, who last made the squad on matchday 14 in Ruaraka against Bandari, takes up the place of Newton Ochieng who takes a rest.

    Save for that change, the rest of the lot that delivered a 1-0 win over Posta Rangers in the last league game all maintained their slots.

    After three games out due to injury, forward Dennis Oalo returns to the Nairobi City Stars squad gearing up for a matchday 15 FKF Premier League match against Ulinzi Stars at the Ulinzi Complex, Langata, on Sunday 17 December 2023.

    Oalo replaces Brian Mose who was an unused substitute in the previous game against Bandari in Ruaraka.

    Also in is keeper Julius Ombacho who takes up the slot of injured Elvis Ochoro.

    Save for the two changes, the rest of the 16 players who did duty against Bandari have all maintained their places in the squad.

    Three changes against Sharks

    Nairobi City Stars has named a reduced 18-man squad to face Kariobangi Sharks in Kasarani Annex on Saturday 25 November, 2023 starting at 3.15 pm during a 12th round 2023-24 FKF Premier League.

    There are three changes from the team that played Tusker in the last match. Out goes forwards, Dennis Oalo and Brian Mose, midfielder Ronney Kola, and goalkeeper Elvis Ochoro.

    Ochoro’s place has been taken up by Julius Ombacho who makes just a second appearance in the lineup this season, as lead striker Kelvin Etemesi returns after sitting out for two games due to suspension.
