Hosts Kariobangi Sharks came from behind to tie Nairobi City Stars 1-1 in a friendly played at the Utalii Grounds off Thika Road on Saturday 31 October 2020.

City Stars took the lead in the morning affair when speedy winger Rodgers Okumu, signed from Coast Stima, connected to a Davis Agesa delivery in just the third minute to beat Sharks keeper Brian Bwire in goal.

Sharks rallied to level matters through Ugandan Peter Lwasa in the 35th minute with a close range shot.

City Stars should have won the encounter had Ezekiel Odera been clinical with a late penalty awarded after Calvin Masawa was hacked in the box. Odera shot straight at the keeper.

Both teams swapped their entire squads at the hour mark to allow a second lot of players sample the game.

This was the second friendly for City Stars that follows on a 4-0 win over host Ligi Ndogo last Saturday.
