Overall team captain Calvin Masawa and keeper Jacob Osano are the two new additions to the squad that faced – and beat Sofapaka 3-0 on Monday – as City Stars gear up for the next assignment against Kariobagi Sharks at Utalii grounds on Saturday 29 May 2021 starting 3pm.
Masawa takes up the slot vacated by former Sharks’ defensive-mid Sven Yidah who was ejected towards the end of the Sofapaka game after earning a second bookable offense.
The other change is that of shot-stopper Osano who comes on for youngster Elvis Ochoro who gets a rest.
Save for the two changes, the other 18 players led by field skipper Anthony Muki Kimani all maintained their places in the squad.
Former Sharks defenders Bolton Omwenga, Wycliffe Otieno and Herit Mungai, as well striker Ebrima Sanneh, are in to face their former employers.
