For the first time this season, Nairobi City Stars will host Bidco United in the premier league in what many dub the ‘NSL derby’ in a matchday 28 game at Ruaraka on Monday 26 July 2021 starting 3 pm.

The two come face to face at a venue where Bidco United came out tops with a 1-0 win during the quarterfinals of the Betway Cup back in June.

During the first leg clash played at Utalii in December 2020, the two sides eked out a barren draw.

Bidco vs City Stars: Stalemate!

There is one major change to the City Stars stable ahead of the epic clash. Coach Sanjin Alagic who was at the touchline then has since left the club and in his place is coach is John Amboko who was his understudy.

Bidco United still has the services of coach Anthony Akhulia who promoted the side at the end of last season.

In the standings, City Stars sits ninth with 38 points as Bidco comes in at eleventh, six points back.

The two carry similar form to the Monday game; a win and two draws from their last three premier league games.
