Kelvin Etemesi

Utility forward Kelvin Etemesi Injili has joined Nairobi City Stars from third-tier side Kangemi All-Stars for the 2022/23 FKF Premier League season.

Etemesi plugs into virtually all positions up front and will provide coach Nicholas Muyoti with extra options.

“Joining City is a dream come true for me. I had been following Timothy Ouma who was my mirror, and he always encouraged me that someday I will play in the top flight,”

“Here I am. I am ready to work to achieve my goals and help the team,” said Etemesi

Etemesi has been in the Simba wa Nairobi ranks since August 2022 and has gone on to score four times and provide one assist from 13 games played.

Etemesi inherits jersey number 20 which belonged to Ouma who moved to Swedish top-tier side IF Elfsborg.

Other than Etemesi, the other new arrivals include; Samuel Kapen, Clifford Ouma, Newton Ochieng and Andrew Kisilu.
