84 Premier league games, and four top flight seasons later, midfielder Elvis Noor Ojiambo registered a first in the Kenyan Premier League after scoring his maiden goal as Nairobi City Stars knocked out FC Talanta 3-0 in matchday 27 in Machakos on Saturday 20 April 2024.
The defensive midfielder was at the right place at the right time at the stroke of half time to steer home a perfect cross from Dennis Oalo to double Simba wa Nairobi’s lead. Oalo had been teed up by Samuel Kapen from the right wing.

It was a perfect day for Elvis as he had initiated the first goal eight minute earlier with a progressive pass to Kapen who squared the ball to Oalo for the opener with a tapin at the fr post.

Against FC Talanta, Elvis earned his 20th premier league match this season, and went on to complete only his third game.
He has so far clocked 1,021 regular game minutes, and at 84 premier league games, is the most fielded player from the lot that earned City Stars promotion from the National Super League (NSL) in the 2019/20 season.
