Nairobi City Stars has now shifted focus to the first game of the season – a round 20 National Super League (NSL) game away to Shabana next Saturday at the Gusii Stadium at 3pm.
This is after the team returned to training last Saturday. To gear up for the game head coach Sanjin Alagic has lined up a friendly at Camp Toyoyo against lower tier side Hakati Sportiff to help fine tune the squad as well as give him a chance to sample players who are angling to sign up for Simba Wa Nairobi.
The Shabana-City Stars game will be the first of the year, and is one of eight lined up to active the second tier league this weekend.
Both teams were last active on Friday 20 December 2019 during the final games of the first leg.
