Defensive mid Ronney Kola Oyaro is all bubbly after netting his first goal of the season on Saturday 13 February 2021 to aid Nairobi Stima to a 2-0 win over Silibwet Leons at Camp Toyoyo.
Kola and attacking midfielder Rowland Babu Makati, both on long term deals with Nairobi City Stars, were loaned out to National Super League (NSL) side Nairobi Stima for the season to gain work experience.
Kola, an offseason signing from KSG Ogopa FC, hammered in a layup from outside the box in the 75th minute for his first goal, and the first for the club, in the round 10 game.
Fortune Omoto added the second in the 85th minute for Stima to confirm the win.
Kola had this to say; “I am very excited with the goal. This being my first ever for the club and in the NSL. It has given me more motivation ahead of upcoming games.” he said
Kola who returned to the squad clocked a full 90 minutes. He had been rested in the previous game against Kibera Black Stars that his team went on to win 1-0 at Ligi Ndogo.
As Kola grabbed a full game against Silibwet Leons, Babu earned an hour.
Next for Nairobi Stima, now sixth in the 20-team NSL log, will host Kisumu All Stars at Camp Toyoyo on Wednesday 17 February 2021 starting 3pm.
