Teenage keeper Elvis Ochieng Ochoro, 18, has joined Nairobi City Stars’ goal keeping department.

Elvis, who spent his formative football years at Makadara Junior League, joins from regional league side Hakati Sportiff.

The promising keeper, who spent four months at the famed Generation Foot Academy in Dakar, Senegal in 2019, joins City Stars on a long term deal and becomes the fourth singing after   Rowland Makati from Vapor Sports, Timothy Ouma from Laiser Hill Academy and Ronney Kola Oyaro from Kenya School of Government (KSG)

“Elvis is one young keeper full of talent and is here to learn from keeper trainer Zachary Onyango and the custodians in the senior team,”

“His plan is long term and we have no doubt in a few years he will grow into a top keeper. We welcome him to City Stars.” said team coordinator Samson Otieno

The young lad is now looking forward to seize the chance to grow his game to a point he can command games.

“It’s a dream come true to join a club like City Stars. I want to learn from the best and up my game through this God-given platform,”

“I appreciate the chance and opportunity and promise to grow through the ranks in the near future.” said Elvis
