    Visiting 3K FC from Embu handed Nairobi City Stars their first loss at the GEMS Cambridge grounds, and first in the second leg during a National Super League (NSL) match played on Friday 3 Apr 2026.

    3K FC were up 1-0 inside the first ten minutes after John Muendo headed in Ian Owiti’s corner, and doubled the lead in the 39th minute after Oscar Juma headed in David Nyaga’s delivery from the left wing. Substitute Alex Juma completed the scoring in the 78th minute.

    From the resuts, City Stars remains 12th in the 20-team log with 34 points as 3K hit the half century mark. The two teams drew 1-1 during the first leg in late January 2026.

    Next up for City Stars is an away game to Kisumu AllStars on Sunday 12 Apr 2026.

    Substitute Abuyeka Kubasu’s goal of a corner in the 55th minute, and a highly contested penalty, from Vincent Nyabuto at the hour mark settled a National Super League (NSL) matchday 26 tie between Nairobi City Stars and MOFA at 1-1 in GEMS Cambridge on Saturday 28 March 2026.

    Abuyeka, on for injured Joseph Mwangi in the 25th minute, got to a sublime low corner taken by James Kibande for the opener. But soon after, the visitors were awarded a highly contentious penalty that Nyabuto scored to level matters at 1-1.

    The reverse fixture – matchday 1 between the two sides back in September 2025 ended in a 1-0 win in favor of MOFA.

    Simba wa Nairobi improves to the 34 point mark to remain eleventh in the 20-team log as MOFA moved into fourth spot with 45 points.

    Nairobi City Stars went down 3-1 away to Naivas FC in KIBHT, Ngong, during a National Super League (NSL) matchday 24 tie on Saturday 14 March 2026. 

    Felix Seda cancelled out Collins Ouma’s 12th minute opener in the 26th minute after placing a the ball past Naivas keeper after receiving a combined pass from Edwin Jumba and Austin Moya.

    It ended 1-1 at the breather but the visitors stepped up to score twice through Emmanuel Lunalo and Derrick Anami in the 64th minute and at the death, to seal off the win.

    Simba wa Nairobi, on 33 points, now swaps tenth spot with Naivas FC who moved to the 34 point mark, to drop down to tweltfh spot in the 20-team log.

    Next up for City Stars is an away trip to Luanda Villa on 21 March 2026.

    A wonder goal by James Kibande in first half handed Nairobi City Stars a 1-0 win over visiting Mwatate United during a National Super League (NSL) matchday 23 tie played at the GEMS Cambridge grounds on Saturday 7 March 2026. 

    Kibande fired home a long ranger that slapped the crossbar and bounced inward and home after receiving a touch from Edwin Jumba from around 40 yards out to allow Simba wa Nairobi complete a double over Mwatate United. During the first leg match played in the hills of Wundanyi in November 2025, City Stars returned with a 2-0 win.

    City Stars now hits the 33-point mark after the Mwatate clash to move from 12th to ninth spot as Mwatate stagnate in 18th spot with 18 points.

    City Stars will be away to shoppers Naivas FC in Ngong in the next game next weekend.
