    Visiting 3K FC from Embu handed Nairobi City Stars their first loss at the GEMS Cambridge grounds, and first in the second leg during a National Super League (NSL) match played on Friday 3 Apr 2026.

    3K FC were up 1-0 inside the first ten minutes after John Muendo headed in Ian Owiti’s corner, and doubled the lead in the 39th minute after Oscar Juma headed in David Nyaga’s delivery from the left wing. Substitute Alex Juma completed the scoring in the 78th minute.

    From the resuts, City Stars remains 12th in the 20-team log with 34 points as 3K hit the half century mark. The two teams drew 1-1 during the first leg in late January 2026.

    Next up for City Stars is an away game to Kisumu AllStars on Sunday 12 Apr 2026.

    MD23: Nairobi City Stars 1 Mwatate United 0

    A wonder goal by James Kibande in first half handed Nairobi City Stars a 1-0 win over visiting Mwatate United during a National Super League (NSL) matchday 23 tie played at the GEMS Cambridge grounds on Saturday 7 March 2026. 

    Kibande fired home a long ranger that slapped the crossbar and bounced inward and home after receiving a touch from Edwin Jumba from around 40 yards out to allow Simba wa Nairobi complete a double over Mwatate United. During the first leg match played in the hills of Wundanyi in November 2025, City Stars returned with a 2-0 win.

    City Stars now hits the 33-point mark after the Mwatate clash to move from 12th to ninth spot as Mwatate stagnate in 18th spot with 18 points.

    City Stars will be away to shoppers Naivas FC in Ngong in the next game next weekend.

    Nairobi City Stars eked out a 0-0 draw against visiting Naivas FC at the GEMS Cambridge grounds on 31 January 2025 during the 19th and last National Super League (NSL) first leg match. 

    The draw was the fifth straight for Simba wa Nairobi, and fourth consecutive one at the GEMS Cambridge grounds.

    City Stars maintains tenth spot with a new tally of 26 points as Naivas FC sits two positions and points behind.

    Simba wa Nairobi will start their second leg of the season with an away game to table toppers Migori Youth on Sat 14 Feb 2026 at the Awendo Green Stadium, Migori starting at 3pm.

    Substitute James Kibande scored with four minutes left on the clock to hand Nairobi City Stars a 1-1 draw with visiting Kisumu All Stars during a matchday 17 National Super League (NSL) tie in GEMS Cambridge on Sunday 18 January 2026. 

    All Stars had gone up 1-0 in the 37th minute after converting a contentious penalty through forward Swaleh Mbaruku.

    But after a shaky first half City Stars rallied in the second half to salvage a point to register a third straight draw in the league.

    Simba wa Nairobi is now on 24 points and sit tenth in the 20-team log with a seven point buffer over the 17th placed All Stars.

    Up next is an Embu trip on Sun 25 Jan to face sixth placed 3K FC at the Moi Stadium Stadium at 3pm.

    Nairobi City Stars hit second placed Mombasa United 1-0 at the GEMS Cambridge, Karen during a National Super League (NSL) matchday eleven tie played on Tuesday 2 December 2025.

    Striker Joshua Amunike scored the lone goal in the 78th minute – his fifth of the season – after being teed up by James Kibande.

    The win sent Simba wa Nairobi up to temporarily tenth spot in the 20-team log with 14 points.

    Next up for Simba wa Nairobi is an away game against Mully Children’s Family (MCF) in Ndalani, Matuu on Sunday 7 December starting at 3pm.
