A cloud of sadness has engulfed Nairobi City Stars following the demise of the mother to Gambian striker Ebrima Sanneh.
Club CEO Patrick Korir issued a statement on the same;
“On behalf of Nairobi City Stars community, I wish to relay our heartfelt condolences to Ebrima Sanneh, his immediate family, and relatives, on the passing on of his beloved mother,”
“As a family, we stand by him and will support him in any way during this hard time.”
Sanneh arrived at City Stars in mid-2014 and went on to feature for the club to the end of the 2015 season. He returned to the club in April 2019 for his second stint and is now looking forward to his sixth season with Simba wa Nairobi.
