Four games into the second leg of the current 2022-23 FKF Premier League season, centreback Salim Abdallah aka Shittu believes changes in game approach and results for Nairobi City Stars are for all to see.

During the ended month-long mid-transfer window, Simba wa Nairobi roped in six players to scoop the team out of the relegation red zone. Shittu returned after an eight-month rest, alongside five other players

“I just came back home and fitted in seamlessly since I am not a newcomer,” said Shitu

“The team is now playing purposeful football and I believe it has the capability to finish in the top 8,”

“We have started the second leg well. From those games we have two wins and as many draws. And there are two clean sheets. You can sense the change in tide compared to the first leg.” added Shitu

Since his return to the Simba wa Nairobi stable, Shitu has featured in all four second-leg games improving his Kenyan top-flight games to 138.
